Title: Diversity of the algae, habitats, and aquatic ecosystems of Bornholm Island

Abstract: The richness of the material collected from Bornholm Island and the Ertholm involved 42 algae colonies, representing 10 varied water ecosystems including halophyte, peat and psammophyte ecosystems. The freshwater environment of Klintebakken and the small Christiansø unique in Europe in terms of the pro- and eucaryotic organisms living there.
