The receipt of a manuscript
Submission of a manuscript implies that it has been read and approved by all co-authors and authors assign exclusive copyrights to the Editorial Office if and when the manuscript is accepted for publication. The corresponding author must verify that the manuscript, including related data, figures and tables, has not been previously reported or published, that the manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere, and that it will not be submitted elsewhere while under review by the OandHS. If the manuscript is a revised version of the manuscript previously rejected by Oceanological and Hydrobiological Studies the author must inform the editor about the previous submission in the cover letter and explain in detail the changes that have been made.
