Process
Following its arrival at Oceanological and Hydrobiological Studies, the author is informed by e-mail, and the manuscript is processed, copyedited by technical editor for scientific editing. A copy of the edited manuscript is then sent to the corresponding author (if required) for checking and response to any questions posed by the editor. This occurs usually within two-three weeks after the date of submission. The author has a few days in which to correct and return the copy. Manuscript should not be rewritten or extensively revised at this stage. After that the manuscript is sent to chosen independent expert for essential revision. If the revision is positive, the Editor-in-Chief make a final decision about submission, and the manuscript is send to author for final improvement and acceptance. Next, the manuscript is sent to language proofreading, and only printers errors can be corrected and references updated after this stage by author.
