- List references in alphabetical order by last name of author, then by initials, last name of coauthors, and finally by year.
- For each author, use last name first, then initials.
- Use italics for the book or journal title.
- Do not abbreviate book titles but abbreviate titles of journals, serial compendia, symposia, proceedings. You can use: International List of Periodical Title Word Abbreviations published by International Organization for Standarization. Do not abbreviate one-word titles.
- The list of references should be arranged as follows:
- 1. surname(s) of the author(s) plus initials with periods, different authors names separated by comas, if a reference has seven or more authors, list the first five, then type "et al.". If the reference has six or fewer authors, list them all.Do not leave space between initials

3. title of chapter, article or book (italics) if non-English language, the original language of the article should be given in brackets at the end of reference, e.g. (in Polish),(in German), (in Polish with Engl. summ.), etc. .
4. abbreviated title of journal (unless only one word) or book (not abbreviated unless part of a periodical series).
5. volume, issue or number (if any): e.g. 18(4) - Volume(issue) - not separated.
6. Inclusive page numbers separated by a colon (:), e.g. 18(4): 25-34, if there is no volume number, inclusive page numbers preceded by a comma and "pp.", e.g. pp. 254. Do not repeat hundreds and thousands digit, e.g. 123-34; 1123-45 not: 123-134; 1123-1145.
7. For books references, list separated by comas (in this order): place of publication, name of publisher, pages or total number of pages (optional), and edition, if necessary, e.g. Oxford, Calarendon Press, 235-63
8. Do not put a period (.) at the end of reference.
- If different sections of the same book, symposium, etc. are cited in separate references, you can give full information once, with the reference listed under the editors' name. Include title of chapter in each reference, e.g.

- If no author ascertainable begin reference with name of editor, compiler, etc. Otherwise begin with title of article, chapter, journal or book, followed by year. Do not use "anonymus"
